Privacy Policy

Smart Remote has the Internet and Private Network capabilities for the following uses:

  1. To communicate with your Samsung device on the same network.
  2. To inform future application improvements by collecting anonymous application error and usage data.

The application error and usage data is collected via Google Analytics. No identifying information is collected other than the IP address which is masked to make it non-identifying. Non-identifying information collected includes application feature usage and application errors. For example, if the application is unable to connect to a particular TV, the model of that TV is collected. See the Google Analytics privacy policy for more information.
