Two Gentlemen of Lebowski, by Adam Bertocci: "Thou err’st; no man calls me Lebowski. Yet thou art man; neither spirit damned nor wandering shadow, thou art solid flesh, man of woman born. Hear
rightly, man!—for thou hast got the wrong man. I am the Knave, man; Knave in nature as in name."

"Michael Niggel took a look at Journey Under the Sea, and mapped out all possible paths. It turns out that death and unfavorable endings are in fact much more likely than the rest."

"This ad from the March 9, 1931 Simpson's Leader-Times (Kittanning, PA) is in no way subtle. The consequences of using recorded music at theatre performances rather than live musicians are, "Monotony
in the theatre - corruption of taste - destruction of art." Yikes."

"With Hyperwords for Firefox you can select any word on any web page and do useful things." That sounds useful -- he thought using his Delicious Accelerator in IE8 to bookmark the webpage. This has
existed since 2005?

"Society doesn't need newspapers. What we need is journalism. For a century, the imperatives to strengthen journalism and to strengthen newspapers have been so tightly wound as to be
indistinguishable. That's been a fine accident to have, but when that accident stops, as it is stopping before our eyes, we're going to need lots of other ways to strengthen journalism instead."

"Aerosmith has reportedly earned more from 'Guitar Hero : Aerosmith' than from any single album in the band's history." Games are usually more expensive than albums but still impressive stat.

"...he said that The Roots were retiring from touring in order to become the house band for Jimmy Fallon when he takes over Conan O'Brien's late night show next year. But that video was quickly
pulled, so everyone has been scrambling to find out whether this apocalyptic... thing is actually true. NBC has no official comment, but we hear that it probably is. Essaywhuman?!!!??! This is one of
those things that proves you're getting old."

Noah Sussman describes the 'via:' delicious tag with references including a bookmarklet to ensure the via: tags are added automatically. The bookmarklet would only be useful to me if it worked on the
'Save a new bookmark' page, but the history and references are interesting. Reminds me of my past idea for a project that shows who influences who in your Delicious network based on duplicate links
among friends with the influencer who saves it first.

This made me laugh: "People think of goths as weirdoes who take vampires too seriously, and therefore they can't help being worried on some level that a crazy goth might, you know, want to make them
bleed. Whereas steampunks are - what? Weirdoes who take pocket-watches too seriously? What are they gonna do, vehemently tell you what time it is?"

"What if Ferris Bueller really was sick?" Another of those alternate trailers for a movie portraying the film in a completely different light. This is very well done.

I can't say why this is funny: "First, the really big picture of what Ubiquity is supposed to be all about: It's a step towards a Web where verbs (i.e. functionality, i.e. commands, i.e. services)
are first-class citizens. And that's why I'm thinking it should be renamed from Ubiquity to something like "Mozilla Verbs", maybe."

A commentor writes: "wow, street art's really blowin' up". This is using balloons to graffiti. Realistically though you've still got to deal with cleaning up the plastic. I like the reverse graffiti
